Biography

Dr. Courtney Sweeney, a middle Tennessee local, discovered her passion for anatomic pathology while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in animal science at Middle Tennessee State University. Following this passion, she completed veterinary school at the University of Tennessee in 2020 and completed her residency training in anatomic pathology at Purdue University. Outside of work, Dr. Sweeney enjoys drinking craft beer (the hazier the better), running, and lifting weights. She also enjoys spending time with her couch potato pups, Pip and Peter.
