Biography

Dr. Jay Tappe earned his veterinary degree from Iowa State University, graduating in 1981. He completed his pathology residency at the Animal Medical Center, was a recipient of the C.L. Davis Veterinary Pathology Award in 1983, and successfully passed board certification in 1985. Dr. Tappe later earned his PhD degree from Iowa State University in 1991 and in 1996, he joined Antech. When not at work, you can find him and his two sons competing in action pistol shooting matches throughout the Midwest.
