Biography

Dr. Skirpstunas has worked as a diagnostic anatomic pathologist since 2001 at USU (10 years), follow by Phoenix Central Laboratory (7 years) and ZRL (1 year) before joining Antech Diagnostics in 2021. Dr. Skirpstunas received her DVM degree from Mississippi State University and after 3 years in private practice focused on small animal and exotic animal medicine as well as emergency medicine, she completed her veterinary anatomic pathology residency and PhD at Washington State University (WSU). Dr. Skirpstunas is a board-certified anatomic pathologist (boarded in 2003) and has strong interest and expertise in oncologic pathology, avian/exotic and fish medicine/pathology, parasitology, lab animal medicine/pathology and large animal/equine diagnostics and pathology. She also has special interest and extensive gross pathology (necropsy) and forensic pathology expertise.
