Biography

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Colleen graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 1986. She then practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Toronto and Caledon, Ontario until her growing interest in ultrasonography and radiology drew her back to OVC in 2004 to complete a 4 year residency in diagnostic imaging. Colleen became board certified by the ACVR in 2007. She then joined the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital, a 24 hour emergency and specialty clinic, as a radiologist and partner. She remained at TVEH until late 2019 when she decided to stop commuting and begin a career as a teleradiologist while enjoying farm life in Mono, Ontario with her husband, Jim, and many dogs, cats and horses.
