Biography

Dr. Doug Rohn has practiced soft tissue, orthopedic and neurologic surgery since 1997. He established the surgery service at VetCare Emergency and Specialty Care Center in California when it opened in 1997. He then founded Bay Area Veterinary Specialists in 1998, a large multidisciplinary specialty and emergency hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was the Medical Director at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists from its inception through 2009. More recently, he has worked as a staff surgeon at Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii in Honolulu and Gallatin Veterinary Hospital in Bozeman, MT. When not working, Dr. Rohn enjoys adventurous outdoor activities such as rock and ice climbing and fly fishing.
