Biography

Swan Specchi studied at the Veterinary School of the University of Bologna from 2002 to 2007. He graduated in veterinary medicine in July 2007. In January 2008 he started a PhD program in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Bologna obtaining the PhD degree in May 2011. Swan Specchi joined Montreal University on June 2011 to complete a 3-years ACVR residency program. He became ACVR Diplomate in September 2014. He is now working as staff radiologist for Antech Imaging Service. He also supervises residents through the Antech educational program with the role of European Residency Liaison. He is head of the diagnostic imaging unit at the Anicura Ospedale Veterinario I Portoni Rossi, Bologna, Italy. Swan Specchi is author and co-author of scientific publications in international veterinary journals. He also takes activity in national and international congresses.
