After which she was a staff veterinarian with Banfield Pet Hospital in southern California before completing residency training at Texas A&M University and becoming board certified in Anatomic Pathology in 2018. Following her residency, she completed a one-year anatomic pathology fellowship in zoo and aquatic animal pathology with the Disney Animal Health Team in Orlando, FL to develop her interest and knowledge in avian, reptile, amphibian, teleost, and elasmobranch pathology. She has served as a diagnostic anatomic pathologist at the North Dakota State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and at the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory.
