
After receiving her DVM degree from Auburn University in 2002, Dr. Wilborn moved to Wichita, Kansas where she entered private mixed animal practice. In 2005, she returned to Auburn to begin a residency in Theriogenology. Dr. Wilborn became a Diplomate in the American College of Theriogenologists in 2007 and has been a member of the Society for Theriogenology since 2005. Dr. Wilborn is currently a Professor of Theriogenology at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been involved in numerous academic presentations and has co-authored several publications. In 2018, she was elected President of the Society for Theriogenology (SFT), and currently serves as President-elect for the American College of Theriogenologists (ACT). After spending 20 years dedicated to equine and small animal reproduction, Dr. Wilborn has a passion for training veterinary students and for providing quality, relevant CE topics for veterinarians. Dr. Wilborn and her husband Barney have three daughters and their family enjoys water sports, Auburn football, and competitive dock diving with their dog, Goose
